Dr. Amel Bouzid DMD, MSc
Dr Bouzid’s professional journey began through obtaining her BSc and MSc in Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa and McGill University, respectively. Throughout this academic road, she conducted cancer research and worked on therapeutics with Health Canada. These experiences lead her to uncover that oral health is where her true passion lies.
Dr Bouzid completed her Doctorate degree in Dentistry (DMD) from McGill University and followed to obtain a Certificate of General Practice Residency (GPR) also from McGill University at the Montreal General Hospital. This multidisciplinary residence has led her to refine her clinical skills within the many branches of dentistry. Dr Bouzid continues to perfect these skills through keeping up to date with the latest techniques and technology via continuous education and training.
Linking her passion for dentistry to education, Dr Bouzid has also worked as a clinical educator at the Undergraduate Clinic of McGill’s Faculty of Dentistry. She continues to showcase the advancement and development of the field of dentistry as a mentor to undergraduate students.

Combining her passion for dentistry and her compassion for her patients, Dr Bouzid stands out by offering gentle care of exceptional quality. Her philosophy is to always put her patients first, ensuring their ultimate comfort and well-being.
Life outside of work
On her free time, Dr Bouzid enjoys outdoor adventures with friends and family. She particularly enjoys camping trips by the lake, water sports, and exploring new bike trails.
