How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign allows you to get the perfect, straight teeth you’ve always wanted without the unsightly discomfort of bands, brackets and wires. In the past, achieving your perfect smile meant having to put up with traditional braces and a mouth full of metal. However, now there is a clear alternative. Holland Cross Dental is proud to offer Invisalign braces to all new and existing patients.

Your treatment will involve wearing your clear aligner for two weeks and as your teeth move, little-by-little you will replace each aligner with the next in the series. Not only are these aligners almost invisible to the untrained eye but they can also be easily removed to eat, drink, brush and floss.

The process is safe and simple and is designed for maximum comfort and effectiveness. Your Holland Cross dentist will monitor your progress with short monthly check-ups. Total treatment time depends on the individual but generally you should expect to see full results between 9 to 18 months.
